Paul Hartwell appointed as new CEO of Mitsubishi UFJ Securities International

PRNewswire – Mitsubishi UFJ Securities International (MUSI) in London has announced Paul Hartwell will join the firm as Chief Executive Officer, subject to regulatory requirements and approvals being met. In addition to his role as CEO of MUSI, Paul will sit on the International Management Committee of the Mitsubishi UFJ Securities Holdings Co., Ltd. Banking Times – Credit Suisse has announced the appointment of Neil Harvey as the chief executive officer of Hong Kong, and co-chief executive officer of Greater China. He has worked at Credit Suisse for 13 years, during which time he has occupied numerous roles, and was most recently head of Asia Pacific and Global Emerging Markets for the Asset Management division. Harvey will become co-CEO of Greater China with Liping Zhang, who remains vice chairman of the Global Investment Banking Department.

Reuters – The man who led the development of Toyota Motor Corp’s Prius hybrid car is set to become the Japanese automaker’s chairman as early as this year, said two senior executives familiar with the matter, in a boardroom shuffle that should do little to lessen president Akio Toyoda’s grip.

A final decision to appoint Takeshi Uchiyamada, 66, to what is effectively the No.2 position in many Japanese firms has not yet been made and the promotion could still be postponed for a year.

Neumann Systems announces Todd Tiahrt as new CEO
